Effect of Different Levels of Copper, Iron, Iodine and Molybdenum on RSI-II Artificial Rumen Microorganism Fermentation AB S TRACT The main objective of this research is to study the effect of different levels of copper, iron ,iodine and molybdenum on artificial rumen microorganism fermentation with dynamic Rumen Simulation Instrument(RSI). The results indicate: The groups supplemented with 0.2-1 .Omg/L copper have no significant effect on rumen liquid pH,productions of NH3-N ,MN,TVFA(0-72h) and TVFA concentration with different time points (p>0.05).Compared with the control group, the digestibility of ration OM and the acetate concentration were increased by 10.65% and 9.23%(p<0.05) respectively in group supplemented with 0.6mg copper. The propionate and butyric acid concentration were decreased by 10.16% and 12.3 1%(pKO.05) respectively. The NH3-N concentration were increased significantly by the supplementation of 0.6mg/L copper(p<0.05) . There were quadratic curve relationship between the amount of supplemented copper(X,nig/L) and productions of ~ ,TVFA (0-72h) and the digestibility of ration OM(Y). The equations were: Y=-140.99X2?87.19X?24.35 R=0.9117 n=4 Y=-22.826X2?0.364X+44.689 R=0.9364 n4 Y=-9.942X2-i-12.509X?3.1 33 R=0.9326 n=4 The groups supplemented with 1-Smg/L iron have no significant cffect on rumen liquid pH, productions of NH3-N ,MN,TVFA(0-72h) and TVFA concentration with different time points (p>0.05). The NH3-N concentration were increased significantly by the supplementation of 4rng/L iron(p<0.05). The digestibility of ration OM were decreased by 6.22%(p0.05). Compared with the control group, the NH3-N concentration were increased significantly by the supplementation of 0.OO4mgIL iodine (p<0.05) . The digestibility of ration OM and MN production(0-72h) were increased by 11.83% and 1 7.84%(pO.O5).
