Study of nitrogen nutrition and fertilization system in film mulch Abstract Winter wheat with film mulch has some advantages like drought-resistant, moisture-maintain, and early mature and high yield. For extending this technique, experiments were conducted with winter wheat of Jin Wheat-47, Jin Wheat-3 1 and other three varieties. This thesis analyzed nitrogen nutrition behaviors, fertilization effect, nitrogen accumulation and distribution, the effect of sowing time and planting density on nutrition and water methods. Finally, the nitrogen fertilization system, including proportion, amount, and method of nutrition, was studied. It was shown that 1. Topdressing in winter wheat with film mulch was very important. Otherwise, supply of soil nutrition was not enough during flowering time and filling time of wheat. 2. The ratio of N:P was good proportion with 1:0.8 because phosphorous was of a function of drought-resistance. 3. Absorption of nitrogen had some relationships with irrigation after spring. Increasing irrigation time had no clear effect on amount of nitrogen absorption. 4. Nitrogen accumulation was mainly in early time and assimilate accumulation was mainly in later period. If there was high proportion of nitrogen in base fertilizer, nitrogen accumulation could be more. 5. Sowing time and planting density had high effect on water and nutrition application effect of winter wheat. If sowing was late, occurrence of secondary root was reduced. And ear weight and ear number were reduced too and led to lower yield. 6. The optimum nitrogen for winter wheat with film mulch was 150-225 kg/hm2.
