In this paper, the softwood cuttings of six speices of plants: Cherry's stock, Pomegranate, Little leaf box, Cotinus coggygria, Black poplar , Capsicum were socked in the different kinds of growth regulator during different time. We surveyed the rooting rates and others indexes of cutting after 30 days. At the same time , the soluble protein, the soluble sugars ,chlorophyll and the activity of POD, PPO were studied during rooting of the cutting. From this experiment, we could draw the conclusion that the cutting's rooting process were measure off three phases according to the changes of cutting's modality, namely primordium of adventives root introduction, adventives root formation and adventives root elongated period. Treated with growth regulators, the system of propagate by cutting were established, which improved the root rates of bad-rooting plants obviously. The kinds of growth regulators and treating time could take similitude effects on rooting of different plants. The rooting rates of all kinds of cutting get to climax after one hour treated with NAA. But the effects of the growth regulators improving the root rates are different, the bad-rooting plants were improve sharply while easy-rooting were little. The 6-BA and B6 could redound to the rooting of cutting when they were append into rooting agent, and that multi-regulator can improve the root rates remarkably. We got the best recipe of rooting agent: NAA100mg/L+IBA100mg/L+6-BA10mg/L+B610mg/L. In addition, we also found that the regulators could regulated the cutting's metabolize of biochemical materials, which could promoted the concentration of soluble protein, soluble sugars and chlorophyll of cuttings and changed the activity of POD and PPO during different period of rooting, then accelerated the process of cutting's rooting.
