Six types of initial explants from Pinus hybrids(Pinus elliottii Engelm ? Pinus caribaea Morelet), including immature embryos, mature embryos, shoot tips, cotyledons and stems of seedlings, shoots of 2-year-old plantlet, were taken to study its organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis in this thesis. Factors have been tested for their effects on organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis. The main results as follows: Mature zygotic embryos and shoot tips of Pinus hybrids were cultured as the initial material. The results were shown that: the optimal media to induce adventitious buds were DCR and WPM medium. The highest frequency of induction adventitious buds was 84% on the WPM medium with BA0.25mg/L . The highest frequency of induction adventitious roots was 56% on the DCR medium with IBA0.5mg/L and BA0.1mg/L. The highest frequency of induction dormant buds from shoot tips was 85% on the medium of 1/2DCR+ BA0.5mg/L. The highest mean number of dormant buds was 3.75 on the medium of DCR+BA1.0mg/L. The survival probability of good quality plantlets was over 80%. NAA was the unfavorable plant growth regulator in the experiment because of induction callus. However, active carbon was favorable accretion in this because of its stimulative function. The induced dormant buds had regenerative ability. The results indicated that effect of single cytokinin was better than combination of two ones in the study of embryogenesis. The difference between diverse crossing combinations of Pinus hybrids was significantly. The callus induction frequency was significantly improved with the maturity of embryos. B02? He5 and B102? B2 was 95% on the DCR medium with BA1.0mg/L and 2,4-D 2.0mg/L. A05? L01 and B08? L09 was 71.4% on the DCR medium with BA1.0mg/L and 2,4-D5.0mg/L.We were not able to induce somatic embryos because of limited time. How to make the callus differentiate and induce the somatic embryos was the basis of embryogenesis in future.
