Through field test design, rice infertility line Ⅱ-32A and maintenance line Ⅱ-32B were treated by spraying with five different amounts of fertilizers (Fertilizer BB for Rice) and three different concentrations of GA preparation (Trade name: "920"). Effects of Fertilizer BB and GA preparations ("920") on the yields of the infertility line of the three-line hybrid rice seed production. Results are in the following:1. Fertilizer BB has a significant effect on the yield of the infertility line in hybrid rice production. The yield of infertility line increases with the increase of the amount of fertilizers within the range of 10 —40kg/667m~2 ;The highest yield was observed in the 40kg/667m~2 fertilizer treatment, beyond which yield dropped.2. Also observed are the increases on the population growth, the number of tillering, peak seedlings and final effective panicles with the application of Fertilizer BB. In practice, field fertility conditions should be considered to formulate fertilizing schemes.3. No significant difference was observed on the length, width and area of the upper three leaves with the application of Fertilizer BB; however, it could effectively prolong the duration of flowering and increase the rate of stigma exposure and fertilization and seeding, and thereby effectively increase the yield of hybrid rice seed production.4. GA could significantly increase the length of the lower three nodes; and it could also increase the length, width and area of the upper three leaves, favorabe for pollinization and thus having important roles in increasing the seeding rates for hubrid rice seed production.Effects of spraying 5g / 667m~2,15g / 667m~2 and 20g / 667m~2 of "920" at the time of 5%, 20%, 20% heading respectively were less than spraying 20g/667m~2 at the time of 30% heading, though they were better than the control. Thus, in practice, spraying 20g/667m~2 at the time of 30% heading has a significant effect in increasing the yiled of the infertility line Ⅱ-32A.
