Phyllostachys heterocycla cv.Pubescens,Bambusa rigida and Bambusa gibba arethe local bamboo in southern Jiangxi province(Gannan),and have the favorableadaptability to the climatic condition of Gannan so it distributes most broadly. Watercontents, biomass and so on of Phyllostachys pubescen, Bambusa rigida and Bambusagibba were researched in order to provide scientific data for the bamboos' extendingand producting. The main results were shown as follows:1. The power function W=C×D~a×H~b, the relative growth type W=a×(D~2×H)~band the polynomial regression W=c+a×D+b×H were used separately to prophesy dryweight and total biomass, thereinto D was the diameter, H was the height of bamboo.The precision of model imitating of three bamboo's stalk weight, the aerial andunderground parts, the total biomasses, the bamboo branch were better. Whereas theimitating precision of Bambusa rigida and Bambusa gibba's branch and leaves wasworse.2. The law of water content:Water content of Phyllostachys pubescens and Bambusa rigida was48.25%,54.56%. Each organ's water content of aerial part was less than that of theunderground part. The water content of bamboo leaves was highest (49.77%,53.16%)and branches of Phyllostachys pubescens, the stalk of Bambusa rigida's was loweston the ground.Water content of Bambusa gibba was 44.02%, Each organ's water content hadthe same law. of Phyllostachys pubescens and Bambusa rigida except the leaves.Water content of leaves was highest(48.78%)and the stalk was lowest.3. The law of biomass:The stalk weight of Phyllostachys pubescens,Bambusa rigida and Bambusagibba was 11.6652kg,2.8407kg,5.7783kg per plant. The ratios of total weight was56.12%,56.67%,54.23%.Their average branch weight was 2.2792 kg,0.5312 kgt,2.1209 kg per plant and the ratios of the total was 10.97%,10.6%,19.9%.Threebamboos average leaves weight was 0.8276 kg,0.5390 kg,0.5114 kg per plant and theratios of the total was 3.98%,10.75%,4.8%.The weight of aerial parts occupied thetotal's 71.07%,78.02%,78.93%.The underground weight of three bamboos was6.0139kg,1.1002 kg,2.2445kg per plant and the ratios of the total was28.93%,21.98%,21.07%.The biomass of aerial parts was more than that of the underground parts. The biomass of stalk was the most of all and the leave was theleast. The ratio of branch and leave was 2.78,0.986, 4.146.4.The biomass of Phyllostachys pubescens,Bambusa rigida,Bambusa gibba was82.9t/hm~2,99.8t/hm~2,145.5t/hm~2 and the harvest yield was 16.2t/hm~2,20.7t/hm~2,30.7t/hm~2.
