In order to search the introduction compounds for new pesticide, two series ofcompounds shown in the formula (I,II) were designed and synthesized. (1) Nineunreported N-benzyl-α,α-diphenyl-2-pyrrolidinyl methanol derivatives (Ia~Ii) weresynthesized by the reaction of an intermediate ester and Grignard reagent underultrasonic radiation and a water and oxygen-free nitrogen atmosphere. (2) Sevennovel N'-phenoxyacetyl-N-furoyl hydrazinederivatives (IIa~IIg) weresynthesizedbythe reaction of 5-substituted phenyl-2-furoyl chloride with substituted phenoxyacethydrazine. Complete assignments were achieved for the title compounds byIR,1HNMRandelementalanalysis.In order to investigate the relationship between the structure of the targetcompounds and property, we nurtured and obtained two crystal structure (Ih), (Ii) bysingle crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, and have some basic discussion on theirstructuresandactivities.The preliminary biological activities test of target compounds (Ia~Ii,IIa~IIh)were finished in Academy of Agricultural Sciences Shanghai Plant ProtectionResearch Institute and Shanghai Branch of National Pesticide R&D South central.The preliminary agriculturally biological activity test indicated that some of them hadinsecticidal activities.
