In this paper, we have researched agrometeorological disaster monitoring technology and wireless sensor networks (WSN) platform as the monitoring system for rice plant under high temperature. Combining the newly production of the world, we bring forward the system framework of WSN in rice plant under high temperature. The contents of the study could be briefly summarized as follows:1. The overall design of the monitoring system on WSN is made of the 5-modules: evaluation indexes of rice under high temperature, meteorological data, WSN, display-query high temperature and decision-warning early.2. The center design of hardware of WSN is a node. In order to match the node, we have selected the chips, and designed mainly a output circuit of RSSI, a detecting circuit of node voltage, an external circuit of Flash and a power saving circuit of the node, etc. And we have designed a circuit of the sink with serial ports.3. Aimed at the requirement of the small regional rice under high temperature stress, we have selected 433MHz opening frequency band. The center design of the monitoring system includes that the date of the transmission and receive programs and serial port communication program, the drive software design and the data collecting program, RF dormancy programme design and RF frequency programme design, the software design of energy supply module is a cluster algorithm of residual energy so that the nodes energy consumption of the WSN could reach equilibrium and prolong their working time. The monitoring system communication was built in the star type topological network, and we have designed its communication protocol.4. Researching the high temperature law of Zhenjiang area from 1980 to 2001 is to build the GM (1, 1) model of the highest temperature to forecast several days a month from July to August. Meanwhile, we analyse the continuous days with reached over 35℃from 1980 to 2001 in Zhenjiang hilly area, the result showed that the probability was 50% of daily maximum temperature reached over 35℃moreover sustainable 6-day.5. In order to explore deeply the specific mechanism and to perfect the supervise system of rice plant under high temperature stress, and we put up the experimentation of the high temperature effects on rice grow in a phytotron. The results of the experiment showed that high temperature treatment at 1d, 3d and 5d, photosynthetic rate decreased significantly which were 0.21%, 29.9% and 44.4% respectively.In a rice field, we had held high temperature testing of the WSN monitoring system, which was designed by ourselves. The result showed that the monitoring system is stable, reliable, and that it can meet the expected test needs.
