Medicago falcata is rich in nutrition and tolerant to drought,cold,salt and alkali,and has good palatability.Phosphorus(P) are not only essential nutrients of normal plant growth,but also important components in alfalfa forage quality evaluation.The research on Medicago falcata at present focus in rhododendrons,Autotoxicity,genetics and breeding,and the research about the effect of Nitrogen(N),Phosphorus(P)and Potassium(K)on alfalfa's yield and quality focus in Medicago sativa.Aimed at this circs,I make a research about the effect on alfalfa yield and forage quality of Medicago falcate,I hope my research will afford a guidance to farmer.The study is a pot experiments,put the Phosphorus element in pot by one-off at seedling.The experiments last two years,the plant are clipped three times,one time in year one,two times in the next year.There are some phenomena happened on alfalfa with application different levels of phosphorus if there was enough K and N.Ⅰ.The highest plant height happened on the second clipping.Plant height performance same as the performance of the biomass.There are a significant positive correlation between Plant height and biomass.Ⅱ.Previous studies showed phosphorus elements can reduce stalk/leaf ratio.On the contrary, my research showed different results.The treatment have the high Biomass same as have high stalk/leaf ratio.The last time have the lowest biomass.Ⅲ.Phosphorus element will significantly reduced root/shoot ratio.Ⅳ.The highest yield happened on the proper use treatments;Compared in three clipped,the second clip have the highest yield,the last have the lowest yield,and the first clip be placed in the middle.There are different phenomena by one-off Phosphorus element in two years.For example,the treatment of the highest Phosphorus fertilizer 120kg/hm~2,it has the lowest yield in the year one,but the next year it has the placed next number one,and the last times it is the number one.Ⅴ.The highest underbiomass happened on the proper use treatments.The greater of biomass under 20-30cm,the greater of it aboveground.Ⅵ.The nitrogen phosphorus fertilizer in Stalk is two times as much as nitrogen phosphorus fertilizer in leaf.The treatments without phosphorus fertilizer have high nitrogen elements in Stalk and leaf,The treatments with phosphorus fertilizer have high phosphorus elements in Stalk and leaf; The results Showed there are significant or very significant correlation between phosphorus fertilizer in Stalk and phosphorus fertilizer putted,the highest correlation coefficient happened on the last time;there are not significant or very significant correlation between phosphorus fertilizer in Stalk and the phosphorus fertilizer that are putted.
