Cucumber Fusarium Wilt (CFW) is a common botanical disease in the world wide range which spreaded by means of soil. It has the feature of fast epidemic and usually causes severe damage to cucumber quality and products output. Presently specific medicine for this disease has not yet been founded. Metabolites produced by Streptoverticilliu cinnamoneum HD-087 possess distinctive activity towards CFW virus along with other several botanical pathogenic fungi. Study on mechanism about active product of HD-087 plays a basis role in application of agriculture produce, and meanwhile combines with important significance. In this work, restraining effectiveness of HD-087 fermentation broth towards CFW and impact on relative protective enzyme along with non-enzyme in plants has been tested at the same time. The result can be concluded as follows:1. Treated with fermentation broth, the CFW virus changed distinctively such as morphological transformation, abnormity of hypha, more branches emerged, leakage of protoplast; meanwhile conidiophore shrinked, bourgeon rate decreased dramatically. In addition to that, exosmosis of hypha content, increase of conductance rate. All these changes indicate that evident peroxidation of cell membrane lipid and membrane structure is severely destroyed thus normal physiological function cannot be maintained.2. Plant resistance reaction is on the basis of phenols metabolism, scavenging of reactive oxygen and inducible resistance. In this work, treated with fermentation broth, various of enzyme activities, such as SOD, CAT, POD, PPO, PAL andĪ²-1,3 glucanase during different stages have enhanced to some extent in comparison to control, in the mixture of broth and pathogen, activities of every enzyme has been improved evidently which indicates that disease resistance of cucumber can be enhanced by treating with broth.3. Treating with the mixture of broth and pathogen, various of substances such as vitamin C, chlorophyll and soluble sugar were higher than control, whereas the amount of malondialdehyde decreased, supposing broth can be able to enhance disease resistance by changing content of relative substances.It can be concluded that HD-087 broth can be able to restrain reproduction of CFW virus, and at the same time cause resistance induction in cucumber. It's of great potential application value.
