The Value Of Psa Density In Analyzing The Risk Factor Of Prostate Specific Antigen

ObjectiveFind the relationship between the serum PSA density and risk factors of the prostate cancer, and assess the value of PSAD in analyzing the Risk Factor Of Prostate Specific Antigen.MethodsGet the detection of serum PSA levels of 70 prostate cancer cases,and get each patient's prostate volume by transrectal ultrasound,then calculate the PSAD, divide it into four groups: 0.1-0.15, 0.16-0.20, 0.21-0.5 and more then 0.51ng/ (ml·cm~2). According to the Gleason score and clinical stage divide above 70 patients into low, medium and high-risk three groups ,and analyze the relationship between PSAD and Gleason score/clinical stage.ResultsAmong the 70 patients with prostate cancer, PSA are 0.8～100ng/ml,PSAD are 0.01～4.3 ng/ (ml·cm~2),and the average of PSAD is 0.41±0.61 ng/ (ml·cm~2).There are significant differences between low,medium and high-risk groups of patients with PSAD. PSAD is positively correlated with Gleason score and clinical stage.With the increasing of PSAD ,the risk of prostate cancer is also increased.Meanwhile,with the increasing of PSAD,the positive rate of bone scan is increased correspondingly,and PSAD is also a good indicator for bone metastasis of prostate cancer. ConclusionsAs a clinical reference for the analysis of risk factors of prostate cancer, PSAD can be used to junge the prognosis of prostate cancer.
