A Comparison Study Of Laparoscopic And Abdominal Myomectomy

PART 1 A COMPARISON STUDY OF LAPAROSCOPIC AND ABDOMINAL MYOMECTOMY: 80 CASESObjective : To determine the diferences in practice between laparoscopic myomectomy(LM)and abdominal myomectomy(AM).Methods: We compared the clinical data of 38 patients out of laparoscopic myomectomy,and 42 in whom out of abdominal myomectomy .We intend to analyze the blood loss, operation time, heating rate, rate to use analgefic ,postoperative hospitalization time etc.Results:In the age, weight, pelvic inflammatory disease history, pelvic surgery, hemoglobin, fibroids number, fibroids type etc, LM and AM was not statistically significant(P>0.05). In the biggest diameter, the biggest fibroids leiomyoma is the proportion of wall,blood loss, LM lower AM,and in the pelvic adhesion, operation time,AM lower LM,the difference was statistically significant differences ( P<0.05 ) . In postoperative fever, analgesics,length of hospitalization, the anus exhaust time, LM less than AM, the difference was statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Relapse compared between the two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:LM has small trauma, abdominal less interference of postoperative recovery, low incidence rates, pain, shorter hospitalization time etc, and is an ideal treatment of uterine myoma surgery method,but cannot replace abdominal surgery completely.PART 2 PELVIC ABHESION AFTER MYOMECTOMY : A REVIEW OF 12 CASESObjective:To compare the pelvic adhesion of 12 patients who had done laparoscopic myomectomy(LM)or abdominal myomectomy(AM).Methods: We collected the data of 12 patients with gynecilogical operation from Jan 2008 to April 2010 in the 1st affiliated hospital of Chongqing Medical University, who had done laparoscopic myomectomy(LM)or abdominal myomectomy(AM), compared pelvic abhesion after myomectomy.Results:There were 3 cases with serious pelvic abhesion in 4 cases after LM, and 2 cases with serious pelvic abhesion, 4caese with slight pelvic abhesion and 2 cases with no pelvic abhesion in 8cases after AM.Conclusion:More serious pelvic abhesion will happen after LM than AM.
