Objective:Objective to observe the therapeutic effect of radiofrequency combined with ozone injection intervertebral disc on discogenic back pain DBP.Methods:60 patients with DBP were randomly divided into three groups(20 eases in each group). The patients in group A were treated with radiofrequency, those in group B were treated with ozone, the patients in group C were treated with radiofrequency combined with ozone.Therapeutic effects were evaluated on 1 week,3 weeks and 2 months after treatment by using the average scores of VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) and Macnab'S method. Results:The patients'symptoms in three groups were improved at different extents, without adverse reactions and other complications. The pain scores in group C were significantly lower than those in other two groups(P<0.05).The effective rate in group C was 80.0%, which Was significantly higher than that in group A and group B(P<0.05).However there Was no significant difference in pain scores and effective rate between group A and group B(P>0.05).Conclusions:The radiofrequency combined with ozone injection intervertebral disc is effective, safe and minimally invasive in treating discogenic back pain, and the therapeutic effect is superior to that of using radiofrequency or ozone only.
