The Exprimental And Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Tongbi Decoction For Moving Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To explore the analgesia effects of Tongbi Decoction on rat models with Adjuvant Arthritis (AA), and to probe into its effects on inflammatory factors as CRP,ESR,RF by clinical study.Methods:1. Rats were randomly divided into 5 groups:Tongbi Decoction groups respectively at low,moderate and high doses, Wangbi Powder group, and blank group. Each group has 10 rats. Inject rats' abdominal cavities with acetum solution to cause writhing, compare the differences among each groups.54 AA model rats were made and randomly divided into 6 groups as blank group, Tongbi Decoction groups at low, moderate and high doses and Wangbi Powder group, then observe the normal condition, weight, the swelling of rats and the change of pathologic tissue.2.40 patients with rheumatoid arthritis in active stage differentiated as insufficient of liver and kidney, obstruction of blood stasis in traditional Chinese medicine were divided into 2 groups,20 in each group. The treating group was treated with Tongbi Decoction and the control group with Wangbi Powder. Carry on the clinical observation in a course of treatment for 4 weeks.Results:1. The animal experimental research reveals:①Tongbi Decoction can reduce rats'writhing frequency caused by acetum solution, and the inhibiting rate in both the moderate and high dosage group are all greater than 50, which proves that it has function of easing pain;②In the AA experiment, the prescription has inhibiting function on primary and secondary swelling of rats with AA, which has no obvious difference from Wangbi Powder.2. The clinical result of study reveals:Compared with pretreatment, the clinical syndromes score,ESR,CRP,RF of patients with rheumatoid arthritis in active stage are decreased obviously(P<0.05) in both groups, but there is no obvious difference between them(P> 0.05).Conclusions:The results verifies that:Tongbi Decoction has effects of easing pain and anti-arthritis, it has obvious effects on patients with rheumatoid arthritis in active stage classified as insufficient of liver and kidney, obstruction of blood stasis. Compared with Wangbi Powder, its total curative effect has no obvious difference, but its syndrome curative effect is superior to Wangbi Powder.
