IntroductionSome HIV infected individuals were detected in paid blood donors, especially among those with single-collect-plasmas in Henan,Anhui,Shanxi,Hubei around 1995.In order to learn the epidemic status of HIV infection in paid blood donors,a large scale screening was carried out in Henan province in 2004.The first HIV infected individual was reported in paid blood donors of Henan province in 1995. But some strategies and measures in preventing and controlling HIV infection was carried out by the Chinese government in 1997 and in 1998 the "Blood Donation Law" explicitly prohibited paid blood donations and HIV screening of blood must be carried out. Then HIV transmission by blood donation is no longer the main route of transmission. In the new form, the main route of transmission has changed greatly in Henan province. At present the main route of transmission is the sexually transmitted. In order to learn the current situation of sexually transmitted blocking in one village with high prevalence rate of blood-borne AIDS,this study carried out the health education about sexually transmitted blocking and then carry out health education and behavioral intervention in high-risk of sexually transmitted blocking effectively, discuss the demand of health education about AIDS,find the form and means of health education, provide the basic materials.Material and Methods1.Objects were composed of thirtheen villages which were selected through simple random sampling from the villages with more than 10%of the positive rate HIV.2.Health education was carried out among the villagers, the second suivey was carried out after two months.3.The datas were analyzed with x~2-test,t-test and Logistic regression analysis.Results1.The general situation:the number of baseline survey was 1755,574 men,1181 women. The average age was 42.32±9.27;the number of the intervention was 1733,565 men,1168 women, and the average age was 42.36±9.26.2.The HIV detect rate ofpre-intervention was 93.3%and after the intervention was 99.1%,the difference had statistical significance. The couple with one negative and one positive of HIV was a larger proportion both two surveies,43.3%before intervention, after the intervention was 40.1%higher than the others.3.The rate of HIV positive was the highest between 30 and 40 group before and after intervention,37.1%and 37.4%.4.Before intervention the couple with one negative and one positive of HIV was 640,after intervention the couple with one negative and one positive of HIV was 658.The group of between 30 and 40 was39.1%before intervention,37.5%after the intervention;Illiteracy and primary schools accounted for 67.7%and 68.8% respectively, marital status at first marriage are the largest constituent ratio were 94.7%and 94.1%respectively.5.The using condoms each time of the couple with one negative and one positive of HIV rate was 67.1 percent before the intervention, after the intervention in each of the utilization rate of 77.7%,the difference was statistically significant (x~2=17.22,P<0.05).6.The utilization rate of condoms was relatively high before 50-year-old between the couple with one negative and one positive of HIV,and the difference before and after intervention was statistically significant(x~2=7.00,P<0.05).7.The utilization rate of condoms of illiteracy and primary culture and the following middle school and middle school were differences and which were statistically significant(x~2=10.27,P<0.05,and x~2=11.77,P<0.05).8.Single factor with the many factors Logistic regression analysis:the results of single-factor sex,self-AIDS with AIDS negative or positive, the spouse with AIDS negative or positive of OR values were less than 1 respectively 0.66,0.23, 0.50,so these three factors were protective factors, educational level of OR value was more than 1 for risk factors;by many factors in non-conditional Logistic regression analysis to control possible confounding factors, the results showed that age, educational level,self-AIDS with AIDS negative or positive related with the use of condoms.9.HIV transmission:to eat with HIV patients together,to have sexual relations with HIV patients but used of condoms,to shake hands with HIV patients did not spread the HIV,the rate of right had obvious improved after the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant.10.The intervention specifically targeted to do post-exposure prophylaxis of health education, which was the first, there were 641 persons known the meanings of post-exposure prophylaxis of health education, the awareness was 37.0%;There were 1139 persons who known which units to find post-exposure advice, the awareness was 65.7%;There were 895 persons who known the call of post-exposure or known where can get the call, the awareness was 51.6%.Conclusions1.In this study, the health education model is more effective, more efficient than the other model systems, and have achieved significant results.2.The health education model effectively improved the condom usage rate of the couple with one negative and one positive of HIV.In the future we should carry out the promotion of condoms in order to effectively improve the utilization rate of condoms vigorously. At the same time, the study also increased the understanding of AIDS,but there is still a certain gap to the ultimate goal.3.The interference to the crowd on the meaning and the measures of post-exposure prophylaxis is not enough.
