On Feng Zikai's Prose Creation

Feng Zikai is "an artist who is a real artist in modern China", as his prose creation is a brilliant success. This thesis tries to make a study and comment on Feng Zikai's Prose Creation. Meanwhile, based on previous studies by others, this thesis focuses on how traditional culture of Confucian, Buddhists and Taoist exert influence on Feng Zikai's shape of thoughts and prose creation. From his lifetime creation, Chinese traditional culture, as a kind of collective unconsciousness, has totally penetrated into Feng Zikai's spiritual world and art creation, which shows a state of combination with Confucian, Buddhists and Taoist. Moreover, as the angle of relationship between "prose and cartoon" is little studied, the thesis continues to probe into this angle, together with traditional drawing theories, in order to display his unique artistic style of "combination of drawing and narration". Thus, further study will be the use of the following skills such as, to get a big picture from details, line drawing, blank, humor, exaggeration, highlight, metaphor, symbolism and comparison. It is a hope that the study can be some beneficial to future research on Feng Zikai's Prose Creation.
