Since the Russian Bolshevik party won the great victory of October Revolution on November 7, 1917, the socialist has come true for the first time from theory to reality in human history. After the victory of October Revolution, Lenin went through a difficult and tortuous process of exploration on the road of socialist construction of Soviet Russia.During the initial period after October Revolution, when socialist construction in Soviet Russia underwent a serious setback, Lenin's awareness and understanding of socialist society mainly confined to Marxist general principles of scientific socialism. Lenin envisaged achieving a socialist society in Soviet Russia by "direct transition" in the period of "war communism", but failed in Soviet Russia where there existed economic and cultural backwardness. Facing Soviet Russia's economic and cultural backwardness, Lenin recognized that the road of socialist construction could only be explored in line with its own characteristics under the specific conditions of Russia. On the basis of "direct transition" lessons learned during "war communism" period, Lenin finally put forward a new economic policy. Lenin proposed new economic policy in the 10th Russian Communist Party (Bolshevik) in March 1921 and found out in practice a special form and method of transition from capitalism to socialism through commodity, currency relations and the market mechanism. This is the initial laws of the transition to socialism, revealed by Lenin in the economically backward countries where the proletariat came to power, but is also the results of exploring the socialist road from Russia's national conditions. The implementation of the new economic policy shows that the road of building socialism with Soviet Russia changed from "direct transition" to "bypass transition", marking a major shift of Lenin's ways and methods of socialist construction, thereby marking the ultimate formation of Lenin's ideas of oriental socialist construction. The prominent feature of Lenin's ideology of oriental socialist construction is that the economically and culturally backward country must explore the road of building socialism with its own characteristics by adhering to combination of the basic principles of Marxism with the reality of their own on the premise that the proletarian political party comes to power and that the Soviet Government grasps the country's economic lifeline. Lenin's theory of oriental socialist construction breaks through some traditional concepts on the building socialism of Marxism opens up a new way of how to build socialism for backward countries accumulates rich experience and theoretical guidance in building socialism for a socialist country with small-peasant features and offers particularly significant reference for socialist building with Chinese characteristics.
