College Ideological and Political Theory Course is the dominating channel and ajor position of ideological and political education for undergraduates.The teachers not only have a heavy mission to educate university students with Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics and arm them with the scientific world outlook, outlook on life and values, but also shoulder with an very important historic vocation, that is, to cultivate undergraduates to become qualified builders and successor of the socialist cause.In recent years, with an array of relevant policies and laws formulated and launch by the party and the government, the teachers'quality of college ideological and political theory course has been greatly improved. in general, this is a contingent with high political quality and better teaching ability, However, we have to be clear about that the general status quo of teachers for college ideological and political education can not still satisfy the need of new tasks and new situations we are facing today. Age structure, certification structure and academic history and other elements concerning teachers are not at all satisfactory. The teachers'ideological and political refinement is no exception. For example, they may be not firm in their political ideals and life believes, not strong in theories, or low ability in doing research. There are many objective factors though. For example, society has not paid due attention to ideological and political education course; school has not done well in administering teachers for ideological and political education course.To change the present situation, reforms are the most urging way out, which is just the call of the time for change, the interior demand of teaching principles for higher education, a important part for implementation of new projects in teaching reform, the fundamental need of following guidelines of outlooks on scientific development. This is a complex system, an issue that can not be solved by the nation or the schools or the teachers alone, which details collaborative efforts from the nation and the society. Strategic research is conducted into the development of faculty for China's college ideological and political education, by combining theory with practice, past with today and future and by touching upon the interior connection between the government, students and teachers. The primary information is acquired in the form of visiting, investigation and group discussion. In this process, scientific and suitable management mechanism will be draw upon and so are approaches such as comparative analysis, synthesis, inferential mode and exemplification.
