The adolescents are during the key time of the development of their bodies and mind.The physique health investigation of the students announced in Beijing in 2005 shows that:the figural growth index of Beijing city' s students,such as height,weight,breast width are increasing steadily,but the physical qualities such as lung capacity, velocity,endurance quality are declining steadily.The rate of higher blood pressure among middle school students is over half,the rate of obesity among students rose 50%than that of 5 years ago and the rate of students who were checked to have poor eyesight are 52%.Obviously, the key factor is due to administration.The writer selected Beijing city as the sample to have a systematic study on the administration of the sports activities after class with the investigation methods such as document ana]ysis,questionnaire etc. The writer sent the questionnaires to 40 PE teachers and 410 students of the 10 schools separately,and interviewed heads of the PE office and several students,then observed the activities in those schools.The results of the investigation show that:1.The cognitions of the administrators on the importance of sports activities after class inBeijing' s junior middle school is not enough; as the conductor,the PE teachers' amount is not enough,but their major standard and administration abilities are relatively high;The cooperation among all the administrators is good.2.As the main object of the administration,the junior middle school students like sports activities a lot,but their fond extent declines from Grade7 to Grade9.The No.1 factor is "too much homework",the second is "space and equipments shortage"3.The conditions to assure the smoothly development of The writer selected Beijing city as the sample to have a systematic study on the administration of the sports activities after class with the investigation methods such as document analysis,questionnaire etc.The writer sent the questionnaires to 40 PE teachers and 410 students of the 10 schools separately,and interviewed heads of the PE office and several students,then observed the activities in those schools.The results of the investigation show that:1.The cognitions of the administrators on the importance of sports activities after class in Beijing's junior middle school is not enough; as the conductor,the PE teachers' amount is not enough,but their major standard and administration abilities are relatively high;The cooperation among all the administrators is good.2.As the main object of the administration,the junior middle school students like sports activities a lot,but their fond extent declines from Grade7 to Grade9.The No.1 factor is "too much homework",the second is "space and equipments shortage"3.The conditions to assure the smoothly development of the activities such as space,equipments and capital are still not enough.4.The system of administration of the sports activities after class in Beijing' junior middle school is lack of rationalism,it can not take the own characters of the activities,Beijing' unique source advantages and the schools' own advantages into consideration;less considering the activities' own characters,the students' age and the regularity of the development of the students' bodies and mind.5.During the course of the administration,the schools planned well,87.1%schools have activities plans each term,84.6%schools have plans every time.6.The important factors that influence the activities administration standard are the society circumstances,system,the attitude of administrators,difficulties in front of the administrators(space, equipment,capital etc.),the activity of the teachers and students,the administration system,mode,methods and the evaluate system.According to the above situation,the writer proposed several suggestions:1.The administrators should change their ideas and improve their cognitions.2.Construct and perfect the regulations and systems,use advanced modes and methods to guarantee the studentst one hour activities.3.They should motivate the teachers and students in order to make the teachers play their lead role and students play their self-control part.4.They also should construct objective,scientific evaluate system, synchronize to use all kinds of evaluate methods.5.Perfect sports law system,enhance the impulse and evaluate system.6.Finally they should fully use of Beijing's advantage conditions and source advantages.
