| WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is produced accompanying with the fast development of mobile communication and Internet. The two big industries have been banded tightly by WAP. And through WAP, digital mobile phone and other wireless device users could promptly and securely access Internet. However, WML can only set up simple WAP page. Its function is not strong.This paper explores a best practice of WAP service system development according to the use of Velocity.This paper first discusses the criterion of WAP, the wireless markup language based on XML, the template technologies of Velocity. SAX interfaced XML Parse is chosen to be served as the SP's liaison with MISC server because it has better efficiency and is more suitable for mobile devices with small memory and lower processor capability.Then, from WAP design angle, this paper emphatically explains many algorithm on the basis of Velocity design. For example:File protect, game adaptive to download, Velocity produce WAP page, etc.Finally, the prospect for WAP to be developed was forecast.In a word, this paper research results can be employed in two aspects:One aspect is that by applying Velocity to research at the WAP, we promote the high-efficient development of WAP, reduce the repeated construction input of WAP, and improve the maintenance efficiency of WAP. Another aspect is that we realize one WAP state which can offer comprehensive service, which supplies a beneficial example to the reference field of WAP. |
