Apparently environmental news is about the report of environmental facts, but in depth, it's about the conflict of human beings and environment and how to realize the sustainable development. The connotation of environmental news is abundant ,the signification of it is far-reaching.Environmental news experiences nearly thirty years from the margin to importance. Its development is consistent with the time, and mutually accelerated with each other. From aspect of history to analyze its development, we could find that the great change of environmental news. This paper will review the course of environmental news in recent thirty years. Studying the environmental ethic,environmental management,environmental philosophy and journalism & communication knowledge, I will analyze the deep reasons to drive the development of environmental news.Nowadays, environmental presses have no choice to stand the margin of market. Not only the career of environmental protection faces the transformation, but also the career of environmental news comes into transformation. In the circumstance of the reform of politics and economy, environmental news will go forward to a high level.
