Now, noise pollution was one of the most serious pollution to the environment, the noise come from production had negative influence to the workers and residents nearby, interfered their normal life, especially in the large steel business enterprise. In recently years, along with intensive study of noise testing method and theory, great progress was made in the study of noise control, noise signal collection and noise control. These datas was lack of classification and fitting of usage. Along with increment of data category, quantity and usage scope, coordinating all kinds of data resources about noise testing effectively, intensifying general analysis of noise testing data, finding out its inside regulation was good to strengthening the study of large steel business enterprise production noise, noise control and fault diagnosis. So it is necessary to design the database of large steel business enterprise production noise which contained abundant data and complete function.Based on the demand of this project, testing method and point were selected by work condition, the sound signal of eighty-two point inside factory area was measured by the frequency collect and analysis system named Test. lab which was producted by LMS company. Then, sound signal was filtered and analysed. Some valuable analyse result was collected. Combining noise testing and controlling technology with computer science, the noise data and its relative parameters could be saved and managed in the database. This dissertation expatiated the framework of the whole noise database management system. Visual Basic was the software tools which supported the system, the database system was SQL Server 2000. The design of all parts of information management was particularly analyzed. This system achieved many function, for example, searching the information by different way, editing the information, estimating the value of noise, and so on. The conclusions indicate the database would provide an important foundation for reducing noise pollution of steel production, establishing decision of noise control, ameliorating work condition and the fault diagnosis.
