| There many big motors in extracting oil and chemical industry, they require the power supply is very reliable. In traditional, people give the terminal transformers ultra capacity to meet the requirements of these big motors start directly or reactor is needed to in series with these motors. The traditional start methods have many problems, such as: the surge current of directly start will make the voltage of power grid sudden drop, this drop will effects the other equipment. The start methods of big motor has become more important than ever.This thesis study the soft start method of big asynchronous motor. After study the different start methods, the thyristor voltage regulator is used to reduce the voltage when the motor is start , the current is reduce by this way. The MATLAB software is used to simulate the motor start model, On the base of simulation, it has been proved that the thyristor voltage regulator method is correct. According to the requirements of thyristor voltage regulator the main topology is definited. The parameter of thyristor voltage regulator is determined. The control system based on DSP is design and the control software is finished. At last the high voltage thyristor soft start equipment succeed in developing and is running in the site.The produce of the subject is applied to the fan control of main air blower in petrochemical engineering factory of Zhongyuan oil field. It avoided the loss of restart caused by the sudden power failure. It reached the prospective demand and got excellent economic returns. |
