After the Second World War, industrial clusters tend to be more and more attractive, and become worldwide economic phenomena.Since the reform and opening-up in China, industrial clusters have developed at full speed, which have become the main driving force in the development of local economy. Zhejiang is the most centralized province of industrial clusters in China. At present, the activities of the clusters are mainly involved in the traditional industry and the traditional trade and business, but it plays an important role in economic development in Zhejiang, and is typical representatives of industrial clusters in China. After the phases of formation and quick centralization, the industrial clusters in Zhejiang have stepped into a new period, and are developing steadily. Datang stockings industrial cluster is one example.The main task of this thesis is to find the factors influencing the development of Datang stockings industrial cluster and how they are working. In chapter 1, it introduces the background of the industrial clusters' development of various countries, so draws forth the purpose and meaning of the writing. In chapter 2, from the definition, classification and the factors that the former researchers had mentioned, it sums up the theories of the cluster, which is the foundation of theory analysis. In chapter 3, it analyses industrial clusters in Zhejiang and the stockings industrial cluster in Zhejiang-zhuji-datang, which is a typical representative of clusters in Zhejiang. In chapter 4, it tries to find the influence factors by found an economic model. Chapter 5 is one of the main parts, it tells us several main factors through statistics and empirical analysis. Chapter 6 gives a further explanation to the research results, that is how each factor works. In chapter 7, it tries to give a reasonable mode of management and development. Finally, it draws the conclusion.I hope this thesis would be of value, as it helps Datang stockings industrial cluster to develop continually, and I also hope it will be helpful to some similar industrial clusters in other regions of Zhejiang.
