The personal-owned corporation of China has grown into one of the main driving forces ofChina's social and economic development since the initiation of the reform and opening-uppolicy over 20 years ago. With the speeding up of economic globalization, both the internationaland the domestic business environments are changing remarkably. Involvement in globalbusiness operations is just the right option for Chinese personal-owned corporations to copewith these changes and improve the corporation performance.Although a part of the Chinese personal-owned corporations have completed multinationaloperation successfully right now, there are a lot of limits on the corporation itself, thegovernment policy and the international environment. From the whole, the performance of theChinese personal-owned corporations is not very good. What affect the performance of thecorporation actually? How to improve the performance of the personal-owned corporation inChina? What role shall the government play to facilitate and promote their cross-borderbusiness activities? Solutions to these questions need to be worked out.This paper analyses the present intemationalization performance of the Chinesepersonal-owned corporations and the factors which influence it. Then, the author finds out thecommon print on how to promote the internationalization performance of the Chinesepersonal-owned corporations by case study and comparative analysis. At last, the validmicroscopic suggestion and macroscopic policy are put forward. The paper is structured in thefollowing way:Chapter one illustrates the theories and definitions of the corporation performance andinternational operation and put forward the frame of this article. Chapter two mainly analysesthe factors which influence the present internationalization performance of the Chinesepersonal-owned corporations. Chapter three provides a successful case about internationaloperation-HuaWei from the micro respects, and concludes the useful measure to get a highperformance. Chapter four covers the government support policies in other countries so as toshed light on the creation and improvement of government support system in China. Chapterfive focus on the strategies which can improve the international performance for Chinesepersonal-owned corporations from the macro and micro respects, on the base of abovechapters.
