Human resource is the most important resource in enterprise, andperformance appraisal is the core of human resource management. It isthe key factor to improve human resource management, perfectencourage rules, realize strategy objective, to help staff developing.Therefore, researching the performance appraisal and planning thesuitable performance appraisal of enterprise have important practicalsignificance. Hunan HEIWADO is a joint ventures of China and Japan.Register capital is 96000000 dollar. After opening on December 1998, thetotal sales every year is increasing. The total sale in 2005 is two times of1998.According to research of performance appraisal, this article basedon the different cultural in joint ventures of China and Japan and retailpresent situation in Hunan, plan performance appraisal of my company.The full text altogether divides into five parts. The first part put forwardthe aim and background of researching. The second part elaborates theconnotations of performance appraisal and performance management andthe relations between the two, and has outlined related theories and itsapplication in the performance method. The third part introduces thebasic situation of Hunan HEIWADO Company, makes the diagnosis tothe present situation of performance appraisal. The forth part introducesin detail how to design indices for the company, the department and thestaff on three levels. The fifth part elvaluates the effect of newperformance appraisal. At last the thesis made a reasonable analysis about the new performance appraisal system and draw a conclusion.
