Guizhou Electric Power Development Situation, Problems And Countermeasures

Power industry as an important component of the national economy in China's economic development process plays an important role. With the rapid growth of China's economy, the upgrading of the industrial structure, the accelerated pace of the city expanding and the raising of people's consumption level, the electric power presents a huge demand in the market and the electricity shortages once become the "bottleneck" that restrains economic development. In recent years, States have increased the power of investment in order to develop the power industry and achieved tremendous results. As the "West power support East market, Guizhou's electricity support Guangdong" main battleground in the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, Guizhou seize the historic opportunity to accelerate development of hydropower and thermal power generation. The energy superiority was transformed into resources superiority. A large number of related industries have developed quickly by the impetus from the power industry and made a significant contribution during Guizhou's economic development. But Guizhou's power development also faces a series of problems: serious contradictions in the supply and demand, the lagging of electricity market reformation, the weakening of management and security after the diversification of corporation principal parts and interests, the lagging of investment systems and the power's tariff managing reformation and so on.The dissertation systemically analyses the technology, structure, supply and demand conditions, economic property, and foreground of China's power industry. The resource configuration, the technology of electric power, supply and demand conditions, the configuration of electrical sources and economic benefit in Guizhou are also discussed in this paper. At the end of the subject, an all-around analysis about power strength, weakness, opportunity, threat of Guizhou is executed by an analysis and evaluation method called SWOT .On the base of these conclusions and analysis, the problems and countermeasures are pointed out, moreover, the suggestion of actualizing is offered at the same time.Guizhou power through further implementation of scientific development concept and planning to strengthen the power of management and implementation, guided by the market, strengthen the marketing power, to control the modernization of large power grid construction, strengthening regional cooperation and coordination, integration of resources, strengthening commodity market system, increase regulation, the power to promote the healthy development of Guizhou, the new coal plant supporting the approval, building efforts, increase scientific and technological input, raise the level of information, and give full play to its own advantages, it will develop by leaps and bounds.
