The articles on how to optimize the resources disposition emerge one after another incessantly, since the implementation of the power system reform. The country natural sciences fund also offers funds for this. All these indicate that long-term careful research and the exploration after breaking the monopoly are called for on how to carry on the market operation.How to formulate the electric power price is one of core questions, for the price transmits the market information and affects the supply and demand's economic activities under certain condition. The current reasonable pricing is clearing price (or marginal price) presented by Schweppe [ 43 ] in 1988. But clearing price is simultaneously decided by the electricity generation merchant supplies curve and the user's demand curve. Under the specific condition in China, the consumers don't pay according to the clearing price, but on the basis of the government gauge. Consumers have no right to choose the electricity generation merchant and the electrical network Therefore, at present the consumers' benefit maximization lies in the demand for electricity any time. Then, whether the pricing, the electrovalence to the Chinese market presented by Schweppe, is a" good" thing needs to prove.The paper is considering that clearing price and its influence on the electricity generation market, and, through the math's principle and economic methods, proves:1st, the existence, uniqueness of clearing price, and its continuity about price function (namely supplies function), and the computational method to prove that clearing price can be calculated, and can be applied to operation.2nd, under certain condition, the payment on clearing price may realize the economic Pareto optimizing (namely existence of Nash balance point), and consequently prove the electricity market is efficient. This paper consists four chapters:Chapter 1 To briefly summarize the electric power market, including the reform background, the operation mechanism,the models and algorithms on application of bidding price.Chapter 2 to clear the issue on some terms' inconsistency and set up our modelChapter 3 to introduce some basic knowledge and the relative results used in our analysis in the research; and then discuss the existence ,uniqueness, continuity of the solution of the ambulant equation; finally to demonstrate the existence theorem of Nash equilibria in different power plants' profits and the efficiency of the market according to the theory of Schauder fixed points.Chapter 4 to deal with the possible problems occuring in the model application including the solution to random fluctuation of electricity demand, supplementalelectricity and the bidding price function...
