Sa8000 Corporate Social Responsibility Standards And Countermeasures Of China's Export Trade

In recent years, the developing countries'foreign trade has got considerable development. The developed countries have always focused on Labor Standard. They try to connect foreign trade and Labor Standard and bring them in to WTO. The developed countries also connect them through varied domestic legal rules and resist the exports produced by the developing countries that not reach the international labor standard. The developing countries consider the uniform labor standard is unfair to them, so they oppose to bring labor standard in to WTO firmly. Social Accountability 8000, which main contents is labor standard, emphasize the enterprise should responsible for environment and benefit of the Stakeholders. As a consequent, it is easily become a new means that developed countries implement protectionism for its moral contents. Since the standard was made, many enterprises of the developed countries use this standard for their own benefit as an excuse to bargain with enterprises of our countries and even threaten to cancel the order for their own benefit. So the study of Standard 8000 has its necessity and practical significance in preventing and reducing frictions of foreign trade and promoting sustainable development of enterprises.Though the implementation of SA8000 has negative influence for the foreign trade of our country, such as increasing the cost of operating, making the exports less competitive and disturbing the foreign trade order. In the long-range view, the Standard 8000 has positive influence on national enterprises. Obtaining the authentication will not only promote the public-image of enterprise, stable investor's confidence and win more opportunities in foreign trade, but also bring many advantages for enterprise: this standard will urge enterprise value environment-protection and labor-protection while pursuit benefit.So under this situation, the thesis put forward the Countermeasures from the legal angle and non-legal angle. From the legal angle: Consummating the SA8000 related legal rules as soon as possible to ensure a good implementation environment. From the angle of government and enterprise: Government should not only give their full attention on the tendency of SA8000 authentication but also protect the right of workers perfectly and supervise enterprises shoulder the responsibility for our society earnestly. Enterprises should adjust their own behavior actively, strength their own quality, so to alleviate the pressure of standard SA8000.
