This method introduces the'Month Of Production'to gather and sort out the data. As the result of calculations, the actual failure rate and the rate in average can be used to recognize the failure distribution and meanwhile, it is convenient for the fault analysis and effective measures adoption. As the application to the practical work, the statistic and analysis process of the horn failure are described. It is proved that the method is effective and practical to better the quality and lower the guarantee fees as well.
