In the late 20th century, service industry booming developed, which become a new motive of the economy in the world wide and the condition of its development has become the important standard to judge the economy of a certain nation or region . Since 80's in 20 century, along with the fast development of China, the service industry gains more and more outstanding position in the economy, playing an important role in increasing an employment, adjusting an industrial structure, raising people living level, promoting the national economy increase, and keep socially stabilizing. But the unbalance of service industry's spatial distribution is just the realistic problem which perplexes the development of our country's service industry. Although this problem is serious threat to the lasting development of service industry, it hasn't caused the enough attention of researchers. Therefore, the research to the development of regional service industry not only has important theoretical meaning, but also for promoting coordinated regional development and the implement of the scientific concept of development which has important realistic meaning.Owing to the important theoretical and realistic meaning of the research to the development of regional service industry, this paper makes use of modern econometric model to do empirical research on impact factor. The structure arrangements of this paper are as follows:Chapter 1 introduces the researching background and the meaning of choosing this topic.Chapter 2 reviews former research to related fields. This chapter makes brief introduction to the foreign research to general rule of the development of regional service industry, but makes detailed introduction to domestic research towards Chinese service industry. Domestic research is mainly divided into 2 types: one type is the study to the condition of Chinese service industry; the other type is the study to the reason for the condition. The first type of study further includes three kinds of standpoints: the first two kinds are clearly contrary, one thinks the low proportion of service industry is the manifestation of its backward development, but the other thinks that it is natural phenomenon of current stage; this two views belong to whole understandings, but the third standpoint thinks service industry's spatial distribution is unbalanced from another regional angle. On the basis of review to former research, the researching ideas of this paper are put forward.Chapter 3 is the empirical research. This chapter uses clustering analysis to carry on the classification of area Service Industry, and then carry on analysis to the theoretical impact factors. Furthermore panel data model is used to do empirical research on impact factor respectively. At last under the background of turning into the district policy of nation carries on a reading as a result to the substantial evidence for each region of the concrete circumstance.Chapter 4 is the end part.
