Stock Index Futures Market Risk Regulatory Research

Stock index futures, known as the revolution in Finance also known as the most exciting financial innovation in the 1980s. After more than 20 years of development, many countries have launched stock index futures, stock index futures has become one of the most successful international futures market. However, stock index futures also have risks. If the stock index futures is mismanaged, investors may be faced to huge losses, and even disrupt the country's financial order.Stock Index Futures in China seems ready today, it is important to build suitable stock index futures regulatory system for the control and prevention of market risk.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part is related concepts and related theories of the stock index futures risks ;the second part is is on the basis of research with United States, Britain, Japan, and other countries general regulatory pattern of stock index futures, and through the comparative analysis of these countries stock futures regulatory system, and summed up the enlightenment to China; the third part analysis Chinese stock index futures risk and regulatory conditions, and given the relevant policy recommendations. The conclusion is: China' s securities market demands the stock index futures, although stock index futures have more risks, the government take appropriate regulatory and scientific ways to control risk, then stock index futures may play the right role. China should draw foreign stock index futures regulatory experience and according to China' s situation, improve the regulatory system, and give the relevant policy recommendations: improving the three levels regulatory mode, establishing and improving risk-warning system for stock index futures market and making the joint supervision of the markets, and establishing emergency response systems market.
