After agricultural economic and industrial economic, human has gone into the era of knowledge economic since the 20th century. Following this human behavior, knowledge, which is a new creative element, brings more and more contribution to the growth of economic, and it also brings more and more influences to the enterprise. The intellectual capita whose core is knowledge has gradually become the only most important strategic resource today. The intellectual capita play increasingly important role in the process of the enterprise growth. Because many research focus more on the big firms and focus less on the small firms, while the small firms are important in the economic society. So the purpose of this article is going to study how the intellectual capita affect the growth of the enterprise. Basing on the past literature review , I state the necessity to study on the relations between the intellectual capita and the growth of the enterprise and develop a model involving intellectual capital and firm growth and collect date of firms in china to test hypotheses of the relation between intellectual capital and firm growth. After quantitative analysis and theoretical exploration, some important results and conclusions are follows:Path analysis results show intellectual capital lead into performance directly. The growth of the intellectual capital of the firm is able to broaden the competitive ability, acquire advantage in the market and enhance the fame of the enterprise and promote the growth of the firm.
