Role is the term refers to an actor portraying characters in drama. Sociologists considers that role-playing experience three stages: the role expectation, to understand the role and the role of the practice. When different even opposite role expectations given to one role actor, the role actor cannot realize all of the role expectations at the same time, which will result in a loss of the role conflict. When these happen in the enterprises, which will have an impact on the performance of enterprises because the distribution of the role is not clear even multiple roles assigned to the same person.The article positioning in the study the multi-role conflict of the general manager in Xi'an Huashan Tungsten Products Co. Ltd. The newly established Xi'an Huashan Tungsten Products Co., Ltd. is a joint venture company set up by three company with tungsten alloy rod as the main product. Among, Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten Co., Ltd. invested in cash, representing 48 per cent of shares, only sent a general manager as their representative of property rights, and become the tungsten powder suppliers of the newly joint venture; Xi'an Northern Huashan Electrical Co.,Ltd invested factories,product-equipment, accounting for 51 per cent of shares, which sent chairman as their representative. The joint venture use its plant, skilled workers etc. to product tungsten alloy bar and sell to the Xi'an Northern Huashan Electrical Co., Ltd. Xi'an Precision Machinery Co., Ltd, which is share-controlled by the Xi'an Northern Huashan Electrical Co., Ltd, invests in plants and equipment, accounting for 1 per cent of shares. Therefore, the actual shares of the joint venture are two parties: Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten Co., Ltd. and Northern Huashan Electrical Co.,Ltd. These relationships between the shareholders and the joint-venture company is the upper, middle and downstream industries chain of the production of tungsten. Based on this industry chain, the three derived from relating-trade on the tungsten powder and the tungsten alloy rod. As the general manager of Xi'an Huashan Tungsten Products Limited, faced with the triple roles expectations and two kinds of role conflicts between them. Specifically in the following ways: First, as a role on behalf of the property rights of Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten Co., Ltd. Second, as a role executives on behalf of the Board of Trustees executor of joint venture company. Third, as the role of independent manufacturers representative of Xi'an Huashan Tungsten Products Co., Ltd. The nature of Role conflict focused on the division of profits created by the new joint venture company.Solution to the conflict lies in the idea of finding consistent with the objectives of the three companies. After investigating and find out that expanding the scale of the tungsten industry become the three consistent strategic objectives, the article point our: In short term, resolve the conflict by negotiation strategy. Take the market price of Tungsten powder as the agreement price to dissolve the role of the property rights representatives and the role of independent manufacturers representative; Take the history production costs price of the tungsten alloy rod as the agreement price to dissolve independent manufacturers representative role and executives role. Through technological innovation,product innovation,expansion of capacity of the joint venture company, expanding the size of the tungsten products market to achieve profits and scale of the win-win goal.
