As the nation's highest academic institution in natural science, keeping the national strategic requirements and the developing tends of sciences in the world in mind, the Chinese Academia of Sciences (CAS) launched the National Knowledge Innovation Program (KIP) in 1998, which is now in its third phase of optimization. As for the readjustment of the disciplinary layout and structural reorganization on the largest scale ever since the establishment of CAS , we investigate the relationship among organizational change recognition, organization citizen behaviors, job satisfaction and job performances by adopting the methodology of questionnaire at Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM),CAS in order to draw static conclusions and provide beneficial recommendations which can be used by the administration to improve the overall organization performance and competitive power.By using the analysis of factor, reliability, correlation, descriptive statistics, T-test and linear regression, following conclusions are drawn with the obtained data.1. Individual characteristics at SIOM show partially significant differences in organizational change recognition, organization citizen behaviors, job satisfaction and job performance.2. Organizational change recognition, organization citizen behaviors, job satisfaction and job performance at SIOM have partially significant correlation.3. The path analysis shows that organizational change recognition, organization citizen behaviors and job satisfaction have significant effect on job performance at SIOM.Based on the above conclusions, we provide suggestions for improving the job performance of SIOM staffs.
