Private Equity Investment Project Evaluation

The evaluation of target enterprise is an important process in Private Equity(PE) operation system,which determines whether the investment will be successful or failed. When a project evaluation being carried on,investors will most probably evaluate such elements as macro-environment,personnel,products,technology,market,and finance of the target enterprise under a kind of regulation with proper methods,and careful evaluation for investment risk and possibility of investment's return will be included, and then investors decide whether they would invest or not.With the development of PE, researches about its evaluation system becomes more and more,deeply and all-round, however,there must be something ignored or not perfect。Therefore,this article will try to find out some problems and omissions of the evaluation system existed,and then carry out some supplemented suggestions to make it perfect.At the end of the article,I will analyze a case on investment based on those theoretical studies before,in which good analysis will be approved and some mess analysis will be pointed out with suggestions followed.The article will follow the order:in the first chapter,the background of writing, writing route and research methods will be introduced;in the second chapter,I will at first trace back documentary,and then make a brief introduction for Private Equity and its project evaluation work,and some research work of PE project evaluation system from home and abroad will be introduced in the end;in the third chapter,I will firstly introduce some import research contents of PE project evaluation system in our country, and then try to find out some problems and omissions and then some supplemented suggestions will be carried out within;in the forth chapter,a investment case will be analyzed;in the fifth chapter,a conclusion for the whole article will be made.I put out some supplemented suggestions based on those research works of PE project evaluation system existed and my own practical work in this article,hoping that it would be some help for the evaluation work in the future.
