The sacrifice to Genghis Khan's Harasuld is an important part of the one to Genghis Khan, which is equivalent to the great sacrifice to Genghis Khan's Qagansuluk. In this paper, with Uqig of Genghis Khan's Harasuld as the object of study, the research is conducted on the characteristics of Uqig as well as the origin,the structure,the sacrifice courtesy,Mongolian traditional cultural psychology and belief consciousness of Harasuld, which is displayed in Uqig. In addition, a study is made of how Darhut people inherit the sacrifice to Genghis Khan's Harasuld and Uqig.The Introduction presents the reasons to select the topic,the purpose and significance of the study,the research methods and the present situation of the research on Harasuld home and abroad.In chapter I, it is found that the sacrifice to Genghis Khan's Harasuld is the extension and development of language power worship. Moreover, a conclusion is reached, according to information upon the origin of Genghis Khan's Harasuld in Uqig, that Genghis Khan's Harasuld has an inheriting relationship with other Harasulds while there are some unique characteristics of its own.In Chapter II, a study is made of the relevant beliefs inherited by Uqig of Genghis Khan's Harasuld like ancient Mongolian Tengri worship, tree worship, figure worship, color worship, soul worship and stone worship, etc.In Chapter III, practical significance and the role of the sacrifice to Genghis Khan's Harasuld inherited in Uqig are discussed, concluding that the structure of Harasuld and the sacrifice courtesy are closely connected; it is because of Darhut people who have a faith in Harasuld that it has been protected so far; it is also closely related with the production and living.Genghis Khan's Harasuld, the banner of his great army, has been offered sacrifices as. the patron saint of Mongols. It is said that Genghis Khan's Harasuld to which his soul attaches is the spirit sustenance of the Mongols, which enables them to suppress the enemy and save the honor. Therefore, this religious service has been continued till today in the ancient way. Nowadays, the sacrifice to Genghis Khan's Harasuld is playing an important role in Mongolian sacrifice culture, and serves as a carrier of the ancient Mongolian history and culture.
