Studies on Preparation Process of JiechangBaokang Pellets (Colon Specific drug delivery) Postgraduate:Zhang Lej ia Adviser: Xia Xinhua Departmeni ofpharmacy, Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Changsha, Hunan, 410007 Abstract The Studies are in order to develop a kind of oral colon specific Chinese medicine delivery system--Jiechangbaokang pellets, The Preparation is directed against the therapeutic way in clinic at present which operation is troublesome but is effective. By now, The researches on selection of prescription and preparation process have been completed. 1. Selection of prescription The prescription is a valid proved recipe to treatment chronic ulcerative colitis. The clinical observe statistics result from the first attached hospital showed that its curative effect is deep (Validation is above 90%) and there is no obvious adverse reaction. When demonstrated by the experts of prescriptions of TCM and For the Purpose of streamlining the prescription, simplifying the preparation process and guaranteeing the curative effect, adopted a prescription composed of coptis chinensis, Radix Sangwisorbae ~ Herba Agrimoniae~ Galla chinensis(the enteroclysis) and Radix Astragall~ Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae~ Radix Glycyrrhizae (the oral prescription). 2. Studies on preparation process 2.1 The data indicate that the main and effective ingredients in the oral prescription are water-Solvable, So we consider decoction is the effective way of extraction of useful ingredients. In entroclysis. Coptis chinensis match Radix Sangwisorbae ~ Herba Agrimoniae~. Galla ehinensis will form sediment. Thus the effective ingredients(Such as berberine tannin)will lose greatly when fitering. So Coptis chinensis canꊰ be decocted together with the other herbs. The test of selecting solvents showed that 50% alcohoL is the effective solvent to extracting coptis chinensis. Combined with researches on the chemical constituents and pharmacologic effects. We Consider decoction is the effective way of extraction of the other herbs in enteroclysis. 2.2 To establish the factors and levels in the orthogonal test by drawing the curve diagrams of extraction amount to time for total alkaloid of Rhizoma Coptidis in Several solvents. The orthogonal design was used to select the optimum extration process according to the content determination of the extract~. total alkaloid and berberine. 2.3 To establish the factors and levels in the orthogonal test by drwing the curve diagrams of extraction amount to time for gross tannic acid in different conditions. Orthogonal experiment was Carried out on the extraction Conditions of Radix Sanguisorbae~ Herba Agrimoniae~ Galla chinensis. Using extract ratio. Content of gross tannic acid as evaluating indexes. 2.4 To establish the factors and levels in the orthogonal test by drawing the curve diagrams of extraction amount to time for gross sapornin in different conditions. orthognal experiment was carried out on the extraction conditions of radix astragall .~ Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae~ Radix GlycyrrEiizae.. Using extract ratio-i Content of gross Saponin and astragalin as evaluating in...
