Objective: To Study effect of H20 layer separatedfrom methanol extract of Boschniakia rossica on content of nitric oxide (NO) and activities of nitric oxide synthase (NOS), acid phosphatase (ACP) and NK cell in early stage of rat chemical hepatocarcinogenesis and investigate possible mechanism of its anti-carcinogenesis. Method:Hepatic preneoplastic lesions in rats were induced by modified Solt-Farber protocol. The serum and liver content of NO and NOS activity, liver lysosome ACP activity were measured with colorimetric method, spleen activity of NK cell was measured with MTT method in the rats administered with Boschniakia rossica (BR)extract for 6 weeks. Results: 1. Effects of BR extract on the serum and liver activity of NOS and content of NO in early stage of rat chemical hepatocarcinogenesis: The serum activity ofNOS(U/ml) in groups of DEN-AAF+BR(2SOmg/ml)-PH, DEN-AAF盉R (500mg/mi) -PH and DEN-AAF-PH were 18.29?.74, 18.74?.37 and 23.88?.40.
