Dendranthema Morifolium Tzvel. Et zhao. is the capitum anthotaxy which belong to compositae. It is a folk traditional Chinese medicine which can clear away heat and toxic material, protect liver injury and depress the blood pressure .The Dendranthema Morifolium Tzvel. et Zhao was collected in JfinZhou of Hu-Bei province. The dried and mealy materials were seeped with 95% EtOH and degr-eased with petroleum ether, then the sample was extracted by chloroform and ethyl-acetate by turns. These two extractives were chromatographedon the column of silica gel with the mixed solvent of chloroform-methanol as gradient elution, as a result we obtained seven compounds, the structure of five compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectral (IR, MS, UV, 'H-NMR,'3C-NMR) and chemical evidences . There are quercetin, chorogenic acid, hepotacosanol, lup-3p,16p\28-triol and p-amyrin.Furthermore, this paper analyses the trace elements and all sorts of aminophenol in Dendranthema Morifolium Tzvel, the results show that: Dendranthema Morifolium Tzvel contains the four humen essentialtrace elements (Zn, Fe,Se ,Cu) and fromwhich Zn, Se are in higer percentage than other Flos Chransanthemi varities in the market; the content of all heavy metals are lowerthan the national citerions. it also contains a lot of amino acids(include of humen essential amonophenols, officinal amino-phenols, flavorial aminophenols) whosetotal content add to 80% 5The active constitution in Dendranthma morifolium are volatile oils, lactones,and flavones, etc. In this study, we used the method of ZhengJiao devise to find the optimize way in total flavones extracting and result as follow the refluxing time and concentration of alcohol have distinctness influence on the content of total flavones, refluxing 2 hours with 10 times 60% EtOH is the optimize route to extract the total flavones. To oberserve the protective action of ethyl acetate extract of Dandranthe-ma morifolium on liver injury in rats. In this study, the acute ethylism rat model was used. The ethyl acetate extract of Dandranthma morifolium could inhi-bit the activity of MDA, ALT, AST; decrease the formation of MDA inlivery increase the activity of GSH-PX.The ethyl acetate extract of Dendranthma morifolium have protective action on liver injury.
