In order to research the medical activities of heteropolyoxometalates, 15 new heteropolyoxometalates containing amantadine, in 5 structural series (Keggin, Dawson, Anderson, nickel-13-vanadate and lanthanide-10-tungstate) were synthesized and structural characterized. Three crystal structures were obtained:(C10H18N)5PMo12O40Cl2·5H2O,nomoclinic,P21/n,a=14.434(3)(?),b=26.258(5) (?),c=23.438(5) (?),α=90°,β=93.72(3)°,γ=90°,V=8865(3)(?)3,F(000)=5392; (C10H18N) 4SiMo12O40·6CH3CN·6H2O,nomoclinic,P21/c,a=20.558(5)(?),b=12.857(6)(?),c=28.425 (?),a=90°,p=90.073(8)°,γ=90°,V=7513.67(?)3,F(000)=5084; (C10H18N)6 As2Mo18O-(62)·6CH3CN·6H2O,nomoclinic,C2/c,a=16.104(5)(?),b=23.055(5)(?),c=33.753(13)(?),α=90°,β=96.30(3)°,γ=90°,V=12457 (7)(?)3,F(000)=8160. The antibacterial and antiviral activities of these new compounds were measured, and some compounds exhibited inhibition to both bacteria and viral.The mechanism of hydrolysis of N, N-dimethylformamide catalyzed by Keggin type heteropolyacid was researched and the crystal structure of the hydrolytic product [(CH3)2NH2]3PMo12O40 was obtained: Trigonal, R3, a=16.5412(?),b=16.5412(?),c=25.154(?),α=90°,β=90°,γ=120°,V=5960(?)3,F(000)=5520....
