Objective: TO study of apoptosis induced in B Lymphoma CellLines By Rhizoma typhonii extract (RTE).Methods: By techniques of cell culture in vitro, B Lymphomawere treated by RTE in 500ug/ml-4000ug/ml concentrations for24hr.48hr.72hr.96 hr. Meanwhile two control groups were set upincluding normal group,l.0umol/L Arsenic trioxide.Thenobserved the cell situation by light microscopy electronicmicroscopy. Observed and analyzed the cell DNA Contents byFlow-cytometry.Results:(l)500ug/ml-4000ug/ml RTE could inhibit Raji cell growthaccompanied by the appearance of morphologic characteristics ofapoptosis. The ratio of apoptosis is 25.3 % when treated with4000ug/ml RTE after 48hr and the cell was inhibited in GI phase.(2)The concentration of RTE showed a dose-and-time dependenteffect. Conclusion: It is found that RTE could significantly inhibit thegrowth of B Lymphoma cell lines and induce their apoptosis.
