This paper expounds the theory of treatment, clinic curative effecting, and machanism of function, about the "Yeming grain" to the retinitis pigmentosa(RP), from three aspects which are the theory studying, the clinic observing, and the experimentTheory studying: Pathogeny and therapy priciple, about the RP, are given in this paper, according to the experience and guidance of tutor, combining my own realizing, and consulting the correlation literature. The cause of RP is congenital deficiency, or deficiency in nutrition after birth, or deficiency of the spleen and kidney. The basic pathology of RP is that void is nipping stagnation. Hereby, this paper establishs the principle of removing stagnation and filling void.Clinical studying: According to the above theory, by the basic principle of removing stagnation and filling void, combining the experience of my tutor, we invent the prescription of "Yeming grain"which is composed of herb. The result is that eyesight and field of vision and visual acuity have been increased after treating by "Yeming grain". The conclusion: The value of treatment to RP about "Yeming grain" is evidence and this shows the superority of the treatment by Traditional Chinese Medicine.Experiment studying: According to the above theory and the basis of clinical studying, we give the treatment to the SD rats, by "Yeming grain", which have been formed the model of stagnation, and observe the index of hemorheology. Result: "Yeming grain"can improve hemorheology of the stagnation of model of SD rats. Conclusion: Mechanism of treatment to RP by "Yeming grain" may be it can improve hemorheology of RP patients.
