Objective: To sum up the data about the indication of the points of The spleen Channels of Foot -taiyin, The kidney Channels of Foot-Shaoyin and liver Channels of Foot -Jueyin in ancient and modern literature and calculate the indication frequency to conclude the high-frequency indication of The three yin Channels of the Foot points. Methods: Searched 703 ancient books about acupuncture of Qing dynasty and before ,215 books involving the concerned matter are included, and the articles published on provincial or national level medical magazines (1978~2003), altogether 2010 articles recording the indication of the main points of the three yin-Channels of the Foot are included. Built a data-base, input the literature data and counted the appearance frequency of the indications, then concluded five common-used indications of these points.Results: Collected the detailed literature about the byname , location , acupuncture method and indication of the points of the spleen Channels of Foot -taiyin, The kidney Channels of Foot-Shaoyin and liver Channels of Foot -Jueyin.Built a data-base that all about the points of the three yin-Channels of the Foot can be checked .Conclusion: Through summing up and analyzing ancient and modern literature, we summarized high-frequency indications of the points of the spleen Channels of Foot -taiyin, The kidney Channels of Foot-Shaoyin and liver Channels of Foot -Jueyin .
