This study was designed to investigate whether there are influence on the behavior and memory skills of rats which were injected Resveratrol after they had been injected D(+)galactose. Methods: sixty rats were randomly divided into 3 groups according to the injection (normal saline, D(+)galactose Resveratrol). Every group has 20 rats. The D(+)galactose group and the Resveratrol group had been continually injected D(+)galactose for 72 days. And the Resveratrol group had been continually injected Resveratrol from the 22th day to the seventy-second day. After these animal models were finished they were undergo these tests including Step down test, Y type maze Step through test, Morris maze test and Lipofuscin quantitative analysis. Results: such variation of swimming length and the numbers through the flat roof in morris maze test and the right numbers in Y type maze Step through test and the brain lipofuscin content were statistically valid by SPSS analysis between the D(+)galactose group and the Resveratrol group (P<0.05) .but there are no statistical variation in the flat step about the numbers of errors. Conclusion: Resveratrol can improve the behavior function and memory skills of the rats which were injected D (+) galactose. Resveratol can inhabit the development... |
