Buqihuoxue Soup With Expectorant Down The Muddy Soup Smooth Muscle Cell Migration And Proliferation

Objective:To establish rabbit atherosclerosis model , we combined the method of high lipid diet and balloon injury .we studied the expression of PDGF and c-myc mRNA with PCR, and compare with the influence of Buqihuoxue Decotion and Qutanjiangzhuo Decotion at the inhibiting the proliferation and migration of VSMC.Methods: 40 health New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into 5 groups. Except the normal group (Group Ⅰ ), the other groups were fed with high lipid diet. At the same time, Deficiency of Qi and blood stasis group (Group Ⅲ ) , Phlegm obstructing group (Group Ⅳ ) were given Buqihuoxue Decotion and Qutanjiangzhuo Decotion. Fluvastatin group(Group Ⅴ )were given Fluvastatin 10mg .In treated group, the iliac-femoral arteries were dilated by balloon catheter after six-week experiment. At the end of the 8th week, the injurious iliac-femoral arteries were observed with optical microscope and transm ission electron microscopy. The expression of PDGF and c-myc mRNA were measured by means of RT-PCR.Result:The expression of PDGF and c-myc mRNA in the three treated groups was lower than that of model group (Group Ⅱ ).
