This paper mainly discuss the basic production number of the infectious disease. The main contents are as follows:In chapter 1, we first introduce the two basic disease transmission models: SIR model and SIS model. Then, we intrduce the definition of the basic reproduction number R0. What's more, we show how to compute the basic reproduction number of autonomous systems.In chapter 2, We study a nonautonomous SIS model with age structure . The life history of all individuals are divided into two classes: immature and mature, and the immature can be infected only. Assuming that the connect and infectious rate is a periodic function, we study the asymptotic behavior of the solution for this model. The threshold be obtained.
