Ultrasonic technology has advantage in extraction efficient, labour saving, time saving and so on. it has only application in extracting for a single traditional Chinese medicine plant. However prescription and selection of Chinese medicine is to rely mainly on Chinese compound recipe and drugs have a role to play in comparehensive treatment of disease with multi-components and multi-targets. Therefore, ultrasonic technology has been obtained. That is to say, Chinese compound recipe has not been extracted by it at present. The research had been on with drugs model of Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Compound Recipe with abundant polysaccharide. With gangao-yield, the content of Paeono, Polysaccharide and ursolic acid indexes, ultrasonic -extraction, refluxing-extraction, percoaltion -extraction with the three extracting mediums as water , 60% Ethanol and 95% Ethanol were adopted to study with orthogonal design, then gain nine better extracting methods. The extraction method with ultrasonic technology was compared with refluxing-extraction, percoaltion -extraction methods in TLC Identification, Main Constituent Content Tests and Pharmacodynamic Tests. At the same time compare these indexes between 'ultrasonic extraction zhengti' (extract the compound recipe together with ultrasonic method) and 'ultrasonic extraction fenbie' (extract every single medicine plant in the compound recipe with ultrasonic method, then mixture with the extrscting solution). All these were done to find a regular pattern with modification of qualitiy and quantity of constituent content to the compound recipe with abundant polysaccharide after it was extracted by ultrasonic method, and to study adaptability of ultrasonic extraction method in the similar Chinese compound recipe. At last the nine better extracting methods were compared each other in order to get the optimum exracting condition. The study indicate with its advantage ultrasonic extraction mehod can apply in Polysaccharide compositions of taditional Chinese compound recipe and gain the optimum exracting condition: ultrasonic extraction method with 60% Ethanol, adding ten times a mount of 60% Ethanol (original temperature 60℃)and ultrasonic extracting (the frequency 25kHz) for 30min(totally extracting for 2 times).The condition is so stable and reliable that it can provide a basis for the improvement of technologic process of compound preparation of Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Compound Recipe.
