It systematically and thoroughly explained that the functional disorder of the shaoyang meridian, stagnation of heat and heat and sthenia-pathogenic factors accumulation in gallbladder is the basic pathology of acute cholecystitis and acute attacking of chronic cholecystitis . Failure of gastric qi to descend is the important part of the disease. Mediating shaoyang and clearing and purging heat and sthenia-pathogenic factors is the main therapeutic method. It explained the principium of Major Bupleurum Decoction to mediating shaoyang , clearing and purging heat and sthenia-pathogenic factors and descending stomach. It also pointed out that heat and sthenia-pathogenic factors accumulation in gallbladder is the main adaptive syndrome of Major Bupleurum Decoction in Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Disease, shaoyang and yangming fu organ syndrome is its healable syndrome. Based on it clinical adaptive syndrome is brought forward, as well as the application with other therapeutic method and combination of drugs.The purpose of the clinical research was to observe the clinical effects of Da Caihu granule in the treatment of acute cholecystitis and acute attacking of chronic cholecystitis. 58 patients were allocated to two groups as followed: control and therapy. The clinical manifestations, liver function and ultrasound B were studied before and after treatment..Data showed that the result of the therapeutic group was better than that of the control group in some manifestations . Therefore, it suggested that Da Caihu granule was effective in the treatment of acute cholecystitis and acute attacking of chronic cholecystitis.
