| Antimicrobial is a kind of medicine which is used in clinic widest. It has a function in clinic which can not be instead of. But in recent years, along with the antibacterial kinds'rising, the phenomenon that antibacterial is abused is worse and worse.The concept of rational drug use has been put forward for ages. To analyze the application of antimicrobial in perioperative patients in a hospital so as to promote their rational use in the clinic, the people have done a lot of researches by survey.Antimicrobial use for prophylaxis in perioperative patients is just a small tache of the Antimicrobial use in the clinic. The interrelated rules which are used for the rational use of antimicrobial have been mentioned in the book of the Guidelines on Clinical Use of Antimicrobial. The book is put in practice in 2004.The interrelated concepts of antimicrobial,the concept of rational drug use and perioperative period are recited first in this article. Then the article sums up the main exhibitions of the antimicrobial use for prophylaxis during perioperative period which is not rational. The conclusion is based on the interrelated literatures which are created by investigating and analyzing the use of antimicrobial for prophylaxis during perioperation.It is necessary to carry out Guidelines on Clinical Use of Antimicrobial for some inappropriate uses of antimicrobial for prophylaxis during surgical procedures in order to improve the rational use of antimicrobial. It tries to sum up the ways and means of the clinical research about the Antimicrobial use and targets which can be observed in the end. It is expected that this article would be a reference for the later investigation. |
